Sound Science is deeply committed to (1) disseminating information to the scientific community, (2) building public capacity to participate in and learn about science through workshops, classes, and one-on-one interactions, and (3) inviting students at all stages of their education to use the ecological research process as a platform with which to engage the natural world.
These ethos manifest in our organization as internships, master classes, and editorial versions of all of our publications (stay tuned for a new page on our website dedicated to this!). As part of a proven mandate to create opportunities for students in research, Sound Science offers internships and long-term mentorship programs for undergraduate students, graduate students, and non-traditional students in either a field or laboratory setting.
We will be posting links to these opportunities in the near future, but interested students are encouraged to contact us.
